The NAR Profile of Home Staging finds buyer's-agent reports of 1–10% perceived value increase from staged listings. We default to a 1.0% lift in the calculator — the bottom of that range — because it's the figure that survives skeptical review. On a $525,000 list price that's still a $5,250 lift on a $29 staging cost. Adjust the slider if your market and price band support a higher figure.
